Context
Three greenfield patient apps for the German healthcare market:
- Jelvo — doctor-appointment booking on an AI-driven scheduling system.
- Abasoft — patient companion app for medical practices.
- CubePatient — telemedicine: registration, 2FA identity verification, practice pairing, consent management.
My role
Lead of a 2-engineer mobile team — own the mobile architecture and release process across all three apps.
Technical decisions
- Expo (SDK 55/56) on the React Native New Architecture.
- Expo Router for navigation and EAS Build/Update for builds and OTA releases.
- Feature-based clean architecture, GDPR/DSGVO compliant from day one.
Outcome
- Three greenfield apps shipped on a monthly release cadence.
- GDPR/DSGVO compliant by design.
Delivery method
Delivered AI-first via a per-app agent pipeline: requirements analysis → task generation → planning ADRs (human-review gate) → TDD implementation → machine-verified completion (typecheck, lint, tests).
